We want to showcase our photography ... and pass on some information
about film photography and how it relates to digital cameras
and accessories. We'll gladly accept articles from experienced
photographers, amateur or professional.
About the technology side ... We're fortunate to have more than 40 years experience in photography - yet
consider ourselves as serious amateurs. Our background in film photography is based entirely
on manual cameras, manual lenses, and the accessories that enhanced our photos.
There's an advantage to this: when we made the switch to digital photography, much of the
"manual" experience helped understand the relationship between the automated features of
the cameras and lenses ... and how to take advantage of those features to lower the cost
of photography as a hobby.
Events
Over the coming months we plan on offering a number of seminars designed
for both SLR and Point-And-Shoot users. The seminars will
feature topics such as taking advantage of your camera
settings to enhance your photos. The format will be unique: both
classroom (theory) and field work (taking pictures) and then back to the
classroom to review. With small class sizes, you'll benefit from individual
attention.
Gear Notes
SLR and Point-And-Shoot by Canon, Nikon, and Pentax. We have
crop cameras, and full frame. Our seminars focus all types of cameras, lenses,
flash & lighting, filters, and cards.
