We're fortunate to have more than 40 years experience in photography - yet consider ourselves as serious amateurs. Our background in film photography is based entirely on manual cameras, manual lenses, and the accessories that enhanced our photos.

There's an advantage to this: when we made the switch to digital photography, much of the "manual" experience helped understand the relationship between the automated features of the cameras and lenses ... and how to take advantage of those features to lower the cost of photography as a hobby.
